Dr. William Phillips will be relocating to a vascular practice in Columbus Ohio. We are all appreciative of the vascular surgery expertise that he has provided over the past eight years, and wish him well in his new endeavor.

We want to reassure the medical community that our vascular surgery patients in Ithaca will continue to receive state-of-the-art care. After much analysis and many interviews, we are pleased to announce that we have reached an agreement with the Division of Vascular Surgery and Endovascular Services at Upstate Medical University in Syracuse. They are a well-trained and experienced group of surgeons who will continue to provide the high level of care that we have come to expect.

They will be regularly seeing patients at our office here in Ithaca. Follow-up and new patient appointments can still be obtained by calling our Ithaca office at 273-3161. After a short transition period, they will be performing selected surgical procedures here in Ithaca. Our surgeons will continue to provide back-up and emergency coverage.

Transition is always challenging, but I am confident that we have taken the necessary steps to ensure that this transition is as smooth and seamless as possible.
